	<li>We need a utility to start and stop the Apache service.
		<br />I wrote WebServices.bat to control not only the Apache service but the IIS, MySQL and ColdFusion services as well.
		<br />Right-click on the link here <a href="../dn/WebServices.bat">WebServices.bat</a> and select <b>Save Target As...</b> if using Internet Explorer (IE) or  <b>Save Lin<u>k</u> As...</b> if using Firefox (FF).

	<li>Select the MMDT1021 folder you created and click <b>Save</b>.

	<li>The WebServices.bat utility needs CHOICE.COM in order to work (this is a Windows command that is not distributed with XP).
		<br />Right-click on the link here <a href="../dn/CHOICE.COM">CHOICE.COM</a> and select <b>Save Target As...</b> if using Internet Explorer (IE) or  <b>Save Lin<u>k</u> As...</b> if using Firefox (FF).

	<li>Select the C:\Windows\system32 folder and click <b>Save</b>.

	<li>Now we need to test WebServices.bat. Open the MMDT1021 folder and double-click on WebServices.bat.

	<li>You will get a windows similar to the one below. It may differ depending on what other services you have installed on your computer.
		<br />You can see that Apache is running. Hit <b>A</b> to select <b>A) Apache stop</b> from the menu.

	<li>You can see now that Apache is stopped. Let's verify this.

		<br />Don't close the WebServices.bat window, we are going to use it again later.

	<li> Bring back up the browser we minimized earlier and refresh the page (F5, <u>View</u> <u>R</u>efresh, or <u>View</u> <u>R</u>eload).
	<br />You should get a message similar to this after a couple seconds.

	<li>Go back to the WebServices.bat window and hit <b>A</b> again to restart Apache.

	<li>Bring back up the browser and again refresh the page (F5, <u>View</u> <u>R</u>efresh, or <u>View</u> <u>R</u>eload).
