<p>The purpose of this page is to explain the test out procedure for <?=$courseNumber?> <?=$courseTitle?>. The last time I checked, the cost was $225 to test out.</p>
<p>There are two elements to this: <a href="#competency">Proof of Competency</a> and the <a href="#form">Credit for Prior Learning Form</a>.</p>
<p><span class="attention">You can only test out of the class if you pay the fee and pass my evaluation of your competency.</span></p>

<fieldset id="competency"><legend>Proof of Competency</legend>
<p>In order to test out of <?=$courseNumber?> <?=$courseTitle?> you need to demonstrate competency in the course objectives.</p>
<p>
This is done by creating a website with the following elements:
<ol>
<li>
The website must consist of five or more pages.
</li>
<li>
Have your name in the title of the first page, or have your name in comments somewhere at the beginning of the html code of the first page.
</li>
<li>
All the pages in the site should have the same basic "look and feel" so that the site looks whole, complete, and professional.
Same "look and feel" means that in general, fonts, colors, layouts, etc., look similar and contiguous between all the pages on the site.
This must be done using an external stylesheet.

<li>
The first page in your website must have the filename of "index.html".
</li>
<li>
All of your html and image files <b>must</b> be contained within one project folder.
You may have subfolders under the project folder if you wish for organizational purposes.
Please do not give me extraneous files that are not used in your website.
I do not want extra graphic files and other temporary files that you may have created.
By giving me a zip file of your project folder, I should have <b>everything</b> that I need to see your website.

<li>
Make sure your website displays properly at an <b>1920 X 1080</b> pixel resolution.
</li>
<li>
Your website must have:
<ul>
<li>A consistent look and feel across the site.</li>
<li>A navigation structure that is clear and consistent.</li>
<li>Uses an external style sheet that passes validation at: <a href="https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator.html.en#validate_by_input">https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator.html.en#validate_by_input</a>.</li>
<li>Five or more web pages that pass validation at: <a href="https://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input">https://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input</a>.</li>
<li>Five or more images.</li>
<li>A background color or a background image is used on all pages.</li>
<li>No broken hyperlinks or missing images.</li>
<li>Site views properly at 1920 X 1080 resolution.</li>
<li>Text displayed in at least two different fonts, sizes, and colors.</li>
<li>At least one ordered or an unordered list.</li>
<li>At least one table.</li>
<li>At least ten different <a href="https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_blocks.asp">HTML Block and Inline Elements</a>.</li>
</ul>

<li>Zip up your website folder and email it to me for evaluation.</li>
