First, you should be aware that there is an obsolete technique of page layout called framesets. Framesets are not
to be used on new sites due to accessibility issues. They are not
supported in HTML5. But sometimes there are no other alternatives.

These are examples of framesets:

http://mmdt1022.ridgewater.net/grades/index.htm
- I framed the online grades because the grade pages are
automatically generated from my gradebook software. In order to
provide instructions, I needed to frame the pages.

http://www.schantzen.com - This is a site that is framed. If the site was redone, it should not be framed.

http://mmdt1021a.ridgewater.net/samples/sp02site5/index.htm - Example of a student web site created with frames.

However inline frames are still used to include 3rd party
content into your website. Chapter 5 in the book describes this
technique. Also this chapter covers pop-up window creation.

Student example of an inline frame.

Here is an example that our in class exercise is based on.

Free iframe checker v2.0.
Many sites are set up so that they cannot be inside an inline frame.
This little app checks if the page you want to include can be included
into an iframe.

Create an inline frame. It should be similar to what we did in class, but it needs to be a different subject than what we did. With a set of links, change the contents of the iframe.

Create a glossary page with terms that are related to your
