<fieldset><legend>Class Format</legend>
This class is offered in an online format.
The class usually has one or more web meetings each week with a lecture portion. We are currently using web meeting as the web meeting software.
This class will follow the assignments, lessons, and quizzes as listed in the <a href="Schedule.php">Schedule</a>.
Each week there may be assignments, lessons, or quizzes for the student to do during the following week or weeks.

<fieldset><legend>Assignments, Lessons, and Quizzes</legend>
Assignments and quizzes should be completed by their due date. There is a grade point penalty if they are turned in late. The penalty is listed on each assignment or quiz.

Reading lessons will be discussed in the class the week they are due. Students should be ready to ask questions about parts of the lessons they did not understand.

<fieldset><legend>Class Attendance</legend>
Attendance is not required but is <b>highly</b> recommended. There is usually a direct correlation between attendance and grades.

<li>It is best if you can attend <b>in-person</b> and <b>in-the-classroom</b>.
This engenders better class performance (higher grades) and timeliness.
Direct interaction between you and your classmates will make everything easier.
Direct interaction with me ay also help.

<li>Second best is attending remotely via the <b>live</b> web meeting.</li>
<li>Last is using the web meeting recording. You are responsible for contacting me or fellow students with questions you have!</li>
