The purpose of this lab is to install Python software to generate dynamic HTML documents and configure IIS to use it.

Install Python and configure IIS to handle php files.

<li>Download the <a href="../../Resources/python/python-3.6.4-amd64.exe">Python 3.6.4 installer (python-3.6.4-amd64.exe)</a>.</li>
<li>Run the installer and install Python.</li>
<li>Configure IIS to handle .py files.

<li>Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager</li>
<li>Go to <b><?=strtoupper($serverName)?> (<?=strtoupper(substr($domainName,0,3))?>\Administrator)</b> \ <b>Sites</b> \ <b>Defalt Web Site</b>.</li>
<li>Open <b>Handler Mappings</b>.</li>
<li>Select <b>Add Script Map...</b> from the Actions panel on the right.</li>
<li>Configure the Script Map with:

<li>Request path: <b class="copyText">*.py</b>.</li>
<li>Executable: the path to the <b>python.exe</b> file and ' %s %s' appended to the end (no ' marks). E.G. Mine was <code class="copyText">C:\python311\python.exe %s %s</code>.</li>
<li>Name: <b class="copyText">python</b>.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Click <b>OK</b>.</li>
<li>Click <b>Yes</b>.</li>
<li>Configure <b>index.py</b> as a default document:

<li>In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, go back to the <b>Defalt Web Site</b>.</li>
<li>Open <b>Default Document</b>.</li>
<li>Select <b>Add...</b> from the Actions panel on the right.</li>
<li>Set the Name to <b class="copyText">index.py</b>.</li>
<li>Click <b>OK</b>.</li>

<li>Show that your installation an configuration works correctly.

<li>Open <b class="copyText">C:\inetpub\wwwroot</b> in file explorer.</li>
<li>Create a directory called <b class="copyText">python</b></li>
<li>Download <a href="python.php">index.py</a> and save it in the <b>C:\inetpub\wwwroot\python</b> directory.</li>
<li>Open <b class="copyText">http://localhost/python/</b> in a browser.</li>
<li>Take a screenshot of the browser window and save it as <b class="copyText"><?=$uploadFilename?></b> in your <b><?=$evaluationName?></b> folder.<br>
